Take Three

Introduction

This is a dance music album.
Dance music such as Hip Hop, Salsa, Funk, Rock, Samba and Tango.

Songs

1.A Prayer

I would like to call it Go-go music as a language in 80's rather than Hip Hop in a modern term.

2.Take's Salsa

This is Salsa.
I very much enjoyed the particular rhythmic patterns, which are common in Salsa music,
while composing and playing this piece.

3.Via Springfield

Funk Ballad.
I used to take a bus from Boston to New York City via Springfield.
I have never got off at Springfield but I like the name of the town very much.
Whenever I hear it, I see a beautiful field in spring, which is only my imagination, though.

4.Family Ties

It goes through various rhythms even though the basic rhythmic and harmonic pattern is very simple.
Scenes change continuously as if they were scenery from a train window.

5.Take's Samba

This is Samba.
The piano-solo-intro is leading listeners smoothly to the song.

6.B as Blood

I would be happy if you listen to it as Tango.
I dedicate the last section of this piece to Luis Enriqez Bacalov, an Argentinian/Italian composer,
who contributed a lot to Italian films and Rocks.

7.Regogo

Go-go returns.
